H’ Mount Sinai Senior High School Akropong-Akuapem was established as a private community school in 1978 by the late Emmanuel Opoku Pare. The school has gone through several metamorphoses to acquire its present status. In 1991, it received Government’s attention and became one of the Government’s Assisted Secondary School and gained its boarding status in 2011. It is situated in the Akuapem North Municipal of Eastern Region few meters along the Adukrom-Accra trunk road.
It is a co-educational mixed school with day and boarding status. Currently, the student population is Two thousand five hundred and twenty (2,520). The school has an administrative block with offices which includes Head mistress office, Academic, Domestic, Administration, General Office and Account/Bursary office occupied by Headmistress, Assistant Head Academic, Assistant Head Administration, School’s Administrator & Administrative staff and School’s Bursar & Accounts personnel respectively. The school has a sick bay which is the health facility serving the school community.
